Fireworks Display

Here are some photos from a Japanese Fireworks Display that I attended in August. It was based in the city of Kanazawa and was free to watch. There was something like 5,000 fireworks that were paid for by local companies and the city council.

They also provide free buses to the event. It’s very noisy, bright and colorful as you can maybe imagine.

It helps to have some wind to blow away the smoke and debris otherwise it showers down on the crowd and some of the fireworks are obscured by a veil of lingering smoke. On this day though, the weather conditions were pretty good.

Update about this Blog

Today I spent several hours upgrading the site and at the same time I introduced a new theme that I designed and fixed the broken image links.

So, I think everything is working smoothly again now. So please enjoy the site and let me know if you spot any problems.

Thanks for bookmarking this site and telling your friends about it :-)

Japan Blog Back

My idea to move this blog was a bad one since the other site has no page rank in Google but this blog has a PR4 which means it is a highly valued blog in the eyes of big G. So we are back!

The only snag is that it is hard work to update blogs like this regularly e.g. with photos so I need you 70+ daily visitors to help me make some money from this site and comment on posts otherwise I am flogging a dead horse here.

So standby for some more posts and let’s see how it works out…
